He is a Pulitzer prize nominee, raised over $27m last year for charity, written 15 best selling books including "The Ultimate Gift" which you may know was turned into a major Motion Picture, as well as other movies like The Ultimate Life.
He saw a gap that was borne from his own frustration… Then he said those fateful words "someone should create that"… And that business? The Emmy award winning Narrative Television Network, which has 22 Million viewers in 12 countries the majority of those being in the United States. After a life-altering and somewhat debilitating occurrence he somehow managed to pull himself from the brink of despair and in 1988 started a business which today has revenues in the mid 7 figures annually. His story includes an all too short stint in his teens working towards an NFL career when some unexpected news on a routine physical predicted a major future change for him - but I'll get back to that a little later. There is a saying that "A man who has not passed through the inferno of his passions has never overcome them" - that is so poignant for my guest today who has amassed a depth of knowledge that he has gained from a lifetime of remarkable experiences in life and business, aided by his insatiable penchant for reading a book every day at a rate of 800 words per minute.
